<br />. <br />. <br /> <br />Minutes of Regular Council Meeting, June 30, 1986 <br />Page 5 <br /> <br />Status Report - Union NeRotiations <br />Council was referred to letter from IUOE Area Business Representative Tim <br />Connors advising of acceptance of the proposal dated June 20, 1986, <br /> <br />After review of the Proposed Agreement by Sather, and discussion, Hansen moved, <br />seconded by Peck, to ratify the contract as presented. Motion carried <br />unanimously, (5-0) (Resolution No: 86-33) <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />McNiesh noted that other City personnel are still pending classification; asked <br />Council's input and recommendations; feels City must implement comparable worth <br />in 1986, After discussion, McNiesh was requested to work out a proposal for <br />CounCil's consideration, <br /> <br />OTHER BUSINESS <br /> <br />Fire Needs Report <br />Hansen and McNiesh to meet with Consultant Quirk this week; anticipate report <br />by next Council meeting, <br /> <br />June 23 Letter re DrainaRe - Oak Avenue <br />Christoffersen will look at situation and report 'to Council. <br /> <br />Caniff DrainaRe Problem <br />Christoffersen to submit his recommendations to resolve this problem, <br /> <br />Summer ProRram Personnel <br />Council was referred to Buckley's memo of 6/30/86, <br /> <br />Sather moved, seconded by Peck, to approve the Summer Program personnel as per <br />memo. Motion carried unanimously. (5-0) <br /> <br />REPORT OF CLERK ADMINISTRATOR CHARLOTTE MCNIESH <br /> <br />Municipal Caucus Membership <br />Council was referred to letter of 6/13/86 re Municipal Caucus membership for <br />1986; requesting Arden Hills' continued support. <br /> <br />Hansen moved, seconded by Sather, that Arden Hills wishes to be considered a <br />member of the Municipal Caucus for 1986, if dues do not exceed $200, Motion <br />carried unanimously. (5-0) <br /> <br />Resolution No, 86-32. ChanRinR PollinR Place for Precinct No.1, <br />McNiesh reported receipt of letter from Church of the Way permitting the City's <br />use of their facilities for the polling place for Precinct No.1, <br /> <br />Hicks moved, seconded by Sather, that Council approve Resolution No. 86-32, <br />CHANGING POLLING PLACE FOR PRECINCT NO, I, Motion carried unanimously. (5-0) <br /> <br />Claims and Pavroll <br />Hicks moved, seconded by Peck, to approve the Claims and Payroll as presented. <br />Motion carried unanimously.
