The Arden Hills City Council hereby orc:Ialns that Chapter 11, Article II, SectIon 11.15 Is added to the Municipal Cod. or the City of Arden HIII8 and Chapter 11. ArtiCM II, Section 11-18 of the Arden Hilla M~tclpal Code Is amended to read .e toRowa: S.ctlon 11.15. f..w:a.Q.u. The City has determined that regulation of garbage and refuse coMectors and haulers is necessary in oreler to protect the heahh, safety, and welfare of the residents of Arden Hills by reducing: a. The frequency of the unsightliness of curbside trash containers; b.~Utter caused by the effects of weather on the contents of curbside trash containers; c. Wear and tear on City streets due to heavy truck traffic; d. The noise pollution associated ,with the proc8ss of collecting garbst a and refuse; and e. Interference with the City's road maintenance activities caused by the presence of curbside trash containers. gectJon 11~18, Freau8ncv. A duly licensed ClISIector shall make the collection of garbage and other refuse at least once each week. In regard to the collection of household generated garbage and refuse. the City 8hatl .fL..' divided into two zones. Zone 1 is that portion of the City located south of, Interstate 694. Zone 2 is that portion of the City located north of Imerstate 694.
