<br />/ <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />/ <br /> <br />Minutes of Regular Council Meeting, August 26, 1985 <br />Page five <br /> <br />Status Report - Traffic Controls at County Road E and New Bri~hton Road <br />Council was referred to Board of Ramsey County Commissioners' resolution re <br />request from Arden Hills and New Brighton for four-way stop controls at <br />County Road E/New Brighton Road intersection. <br /> <br />Woodburn reported that the Commissioners approve retention of the existing <br />traffic controls (County Road E traffic stops for New Brighton Road). <br /> <br />Hoigaard Tent Sale and Temporary Banner Permit Request <br />Sather moved, seconded by Peck, to approve the tent sale and temporary banner <br />permits for HOigaard's. as requested. Motion carried unanimously. (5-0) <br /> <br />Interest to be Charged on Assessments <br />McNiesh asked Council for a suggested interest rate to be charged on the <br />assessments for Lametti. McClung Third and RoyarHi11s North Additions; reported <br />the assessment hearings will be on September 9. McNiesh reported that the <br />City can charge up to 12%; suggested a rate between 10% and 11%; explained <br />that the assessments are geared to be paid within 6 years. Council concurred <br />to charge an interest rate of 10.5% on the assessments. <br /> <br />Claims <br />Council was referred to a list of six Claims totalling $5,002.67. <br /> <br />Hicks moved approval of the Claims as presented. Motion was seconded by Peck <br />and carried unanimously. (5-0) <br /> <br />Adjournment <br />Sather moved that the meeting adjourn at 10:05 p.m. Motion was seconded by <br />Peck and carried unanimously.
