Hicks explained that the 9.5% <br />increase is a one-time request and would amount to $689.00 for Arden Hills. <br /> <br />In discussion, it was commented that 10% is a big jump in one year; it was <br />noted that the Edgewood Community Center area should be provided the same <br />services as provided in the other communities, maybe not the extra programs <br />proposed. No action was taken. <br /> <br />Sand and Salt Mix StoraRe Problem <br />Sather reported that we have about 100 tons of sand/salt mix; need a place to <br />store it, or sell it to someone who has covered storage area. <br /> <br />Raddatz explained that he has tried bee hive covers, but his experience has <br />been, the tarps disappear; feels a solid structure is the only alternative; <br />noted that the problem is, the structure must be quite high in order to get <br />a loader inside. <br /> <br />No action was taken. <br /> <br />REPORT OF CLERK ADMINISTRATOR CHARLOTTE MCNIESH <br /> <br />Roseville Bank Park Dedication <br />McNiesh reported that Counci1member Hansen met with Donovan Fisher, <br />Rosevil1e Bank; advises that a $905 park dedication credit was given for <br />on-site ponding when original bank was built; bank is amenable to pay the <br />full $905 park dedication now that the on-site ponding area has been filled. <br /> <br />Sather moved, seconded by Peck, that Council accept <br />of the Rosevi11e Bank park dedication requirement. <br />mously. (4-0) <br /> <br />$905 as fulfillment <br />Motion carried unani- <br /> <br />Mechanical Amusement Devices - BiR Ten Supper Club and Blue Fox Inn <br />McNiesh referred Council to two applications from the Lean Year Company to <br />install one mechanical amusement device, "Skill Stop", at the Big Ten <br />Supper Club and at Blue Fox Inn. McNiesh said they are not "gambling" <br />devices. <br /> <br />Sather moved, seconded by Hicks, that Council approve the mechanical amuse- <br />ment device licenses for the Lean Year Company at Blue Fox Inn and Big <br />Ten Supper Club. Motion carried unanimously. (4-0) <br /> <br />July Council MeetinR Schedule <br />Regular dates are July 8 and 29. Hicks and Sather will be out of town July <br />29. Council concurred to schedule the next meeting on July 8, and consider, <br />at that time, an alternate date for a second July meeting, if needed. <br /> <br />Claims and Payroll <br />Hicks moved, seconded by Sather, that the Claims and Payroll be approved as <br />submitted. Motion carried unanimously.
