<br />Minutes of Regular Council Meeting, May 13 <br />Page eight <br /> <br />license for the Arden Hills Sportsman's Club for balance of 1985. Motion <br />carried unanimously. (5-0) <br /> <br />Claims and Payroll <br />Hansen moved, seconded by Peck, that Council approve the Claims and Payroll <br />as submitted. Motion carried unanimously. (5-0) <br /> <br />Arden Plaza Curb and DrainaRe <br />Council was referred to pictures of the west side of the Arden Plaza site, <br />showing sections of curb in disarray, area has not been maintained; dump- <br />sters have not been screened. <br /> <br />McNiesh was requested to advise C. G. Rein that the Council expects this <br />to be taken care of immediately, and that the area be sodded and main- <br />tained so that it will not .be unsightly and unreasonably detract from the <br />appearance of the surrounding area. <br /> <br />Gould and Company - Exterior StoraRe Area <br />McNiesh reported receipt of a complaint that the screening of the Gould <br />and Company exterior storage is in need of repair or replacement; detracts <br />from the appearance of the industrial area. <br /> <br />McNiesh was requested to advise Gould and Company that fencing and lands- <br />caping must be maintained so as not to be unSightly and detract from the <br />appearance of the area. <br /> <br />Street LiRht Request - Dr. Alper. 1600 Lake Johanna Boulevard <br />McNiesh reported that Dr. Alper has experienced vandalism and requests a <br />street light; reported she will send the request to the Public Safety Com- <br />mittee for its recommendations; reported that she explained to Dr. Alper <br />that, if the light does not meet the City's criteria for a street light, <br />an alternative would be to have the light installed and charges added tq <br />Dr. Alper's utility bill. <br /> <br />Adiournment <br />Peck moved, seconded by Hansen, that <br />Motion carried unanimously.
