Motion <br />carried unanimously. (5 - 0) <br /> <br />Public Safety Committee Meeting, March 18th <br />Council was referred to minutes of March 18th Public Safety Committee meeting. <br /> <br />Letter, Lake Johanna Fire Department <br />Hansen noted that the anonymous letter re Fire Code will be on the next <br />Fire Board agenda. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />House Numbers <br />It was suggested that canvassing of the City, by Committee members, be <br />pursued, additional notice to residents be delayed until late summer or <br />fall. <br /> <br />OTHER BUSINESS <br /> <br />Finance Committee Meeting <br />Peck cannot attend the subcommittee meeting on Thursday, March 28th. McNiesh <br />offered to attend. <br /> <br />STH 51 and Snelling/Hamline Intersection <br />It was reported that the intersection appears to be hazardous because of deep <br />water and mud. McNiesh will report the conditions to MnDOT. <br /> <br />Joint Meeting with Roseville <br />Hansen and Woodburn cannot attend. Woodburn asked Hicks to meet with affected <br />residents relative to their concerns after the joint meeting, and to relay <br />information to Council. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />League of Minnesota Cities - Local Government Aids <br />Hansen moved, seconded by Sather, that Council request McNiesh to advise <br />Representative Tony Bennett and Senator Fritz Knaak, by letter,. that the Arden <br />Hills Council supports the new League of Minnesota Cities local government <br />aid formula, described in the March 10, 1985 Action Alert, League of Minnesota <br />Cities. Motion carried unanimously. (5 - 0) <br /> <br />REPORT OF VILLAGE CLERK ADMINISTRATOR CHARLOTTE MCNIESH <br /> <br />April Council Meeting Schedule <br />Sather moved, seconded by Peck, that April Council meetings be scheduled as <br />follows: <br /> <br />April 2nd <br /> <br />- Special Joint Meeting, with Roseville - Roseville City Hall, <br />7:00 p.m. <br />- Regular Council Meeting - Village Hall, 7:30 p.m. <br />- Work/Study Meeting - Village Hall, 7:00 p.m. <br />- Regular Council Meeting - Village Hall, 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />April 8th <br />April 22nd <br />April 29th <br /> <br />Motion carried unanimously. (5 - 0) . <br /> <br />Professional Processing Payroll Training Session . <br />Hansen moved, seconded by Peck, that Council authorize the attendance of Jane <br />Lund at the March 28th Professional Processing Payroll Training Session, and <br />the $25.00 registration fee. Motion carried unanimously. (5 - 0) <br /> <br />Claims and Payroll <br />Hicks moved, seconded by Peck, that Council approve the Claims and Payrolls <br />as presented. Motion carried unanimously. (5 - 0) <br />
