<br />~ .- <br />~... - <br /> <br />MINUTES OF REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING <br />Village of Arden HIlls <br />Monday, January 28, 1985 - 7:30 p.m. <br />VI I I age Hall <br /> <br />Call to Order <br />Pursuant to due call, and notice thereof, Mayor Woodburn <br />called the meeting to order at 7:30'p.m. <br /> <br />Roll Call <br />Present - Mayor Robert Woodburn, Councllmembers Dale HIcks, <br />Nancy Hansen, Gary Peck, Thomas Sather <br /> <br />Absent - None <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Also Present - Attorney James Lynden, Engineer Donald <br />Christoffersen, Treasurer Donald Lamb (about 9:30 p.m.). <br />Clerk Administrator Charlotte McNlesh, Deputy Clerk <br />Dorothy Zehm <br /> <br />Approval of Minutes <br />Hansen moved, seconded by Peck, that the Minutes of the Jan- <br />uary 14th Councl I MeetIng be approved as subml~ted. Motion <br />carried unenlmously. (5-0) <br /> <br />Business from the Flo~ <br />None <br /> <br />REPORT OF VILLAGE ATTORNEY JAMES LYNDEN <br /> <br />Request for Petition to Abandon Ditch 12 - Woodbridge Properties <br />Lynden referred Councl I to draft of Resolution and attached <br />Petition for Abandonment of County Ditch No. 12. Lynden recom- <br />mended Councl I 's adoptIon of the ResolutIon. <br /> <br />Engineer Christoffersen described the location of the ditch, <br />noting that It has been replaced by a storm drainage system, and <br />Is no longer needed. <br /> <br />Hicks moved, seconded by Hansen, that Councl I adopt ResolutIon <br />No. 85-10, RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF PETITION TO <br />ABANDON COUNTY DITCH 12 AND SUBMISSION OF PETITION TO BOARD OF <br />MANAGERS OF RICE CREEK WATERSHED DISTRICT. Motion carrIed <br />unanimOUSly. (5-0) <br /> <br />Development Agreement Draft <br />Lynden referred Council to draft of Development Agreement <br />between the City of Arden HI 115 and developers relative to <br />Improvements In connection with subdivIsions. <br /> <br />Lynden recommended execution of the Development Agreement <br />for three subdIvisions: <br /> <br />McClung Third Addition <br />Royal Hills North <br />Lamettl Addition <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Lynden noted that the City Engineer suggests that (hI Super- <br />vision. (p.4) be amended as follows: <br /> <br />"AI I of the Developer Improvements work shall <br />be under and subject to the supervIsion of the <br />Developer and subject to the review of the City <br />Engineer.. ." <br /> <br />Hansen moved, seconded by Sather, that Councl I approve the' <br />Development Agreement, as amended, for execution by the CIty <br />and the developers of McClung Third Addition, Royal HI lis <br />North, and Lamettl Addition. Motion carried unanimously. <br />( 5-0) <br />
