Peck reported that they received literature on <br />perks In Remsey County and Information about Ramsey County's long <br />range park plans. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Undeveloped Land <br />Sather requested that an up-dated report of undeveloped lands <br />In Arden Hills be prepared for Council and Planning Charlman's <br />Information. <br /> <br />Metro Council - Preliminary Forecasts (12/6/84) <br />Woodburn questioned the accuracy of the 1990 and 2000 popula- <br />tion forecasts In the report; noted that the 8400 Arden HI lis <br />forecast Is less than the Metro Council estimated of 1982 thru <br />1984. ' <br /> <br />McNlesh will look Into the accuracy of the population forecast. <br /> <br />Lake Josephine <br />Woodburn Informed Councl I of an apparent $400,000 EPA/PCA grant <br />requested by RCWD for some kind of study relating to Lake <br />Josephine; said, as of now, he doesn't know what It Is for, but <br />assumes the City wll I be Informed. <br /> <br />REPORT OF VILLAGE CLERK ADMINISTRATOR CHARLOTTE MC NIESH <br /> <br />Recommendation - Clerk TypIst Position <br />Council was referred to McNlesh's memo of 1/25/85. <br /> <br />Hicks moved, seconded by Peck, that Council approve the hiring <br />of Shirley Marshall as a full-time Clerk/Typist @ $5.75/hr., <br />effective February I, 1985, as per memo. Motion carried unani- <br />mously. (5-0) <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Status Report - Invitation tor Proposals for Bond Counsel/ <br />Fiscal Consultant <br />McNlesh reported she will have Invited proposals from eight con- <br />sultants; noted that 70-90 days are needed from "start to money"; <br />hopefully Council will have sufficient proposal Information to <br />make Its decision at the February 11th meeting; noted that the <br />old Issue must be paid out on May 1st. <br /> <br />(McNlesh was requested to conduct a telephone poll of Council <br />members relative to consensus to Interview all or certain ot the <br />applicants, after al I proposals are In.) <br /> <br />Resolutions Reapportlonln~ Assessments (McClung Third AddItion) <br />Hicks moved, seconded by ather, that Councl I adopt Resolution <br />No. 85-8, RESOLUTION RELATING TO APPORTIONMENT OF ASSESSMENTS <br />RELATING TO CONSOLIDATED SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENTS NOS. 12 <br />AND 13, and Resolution No. 85-9, RESOLUTION RELATING TO APPOR- <br />TIONMENT OF ASSESSMENTS RELATING TO COMBINED IMPROVEMENT W-77-5 <br />AND W-78-2. Motion carried unanimously.
