Motion carried unanimously. (5-0) <br /> Interest on Temporary Transfers <br /> Council was referred to McNiesh's memo of 12/10/84 and concurred with the <br /> 10.7% interest on temporary transfers. <br />. Replace 'Office Typewriter <br /> Council was referred to McNiesh's memo (12/14/84)" recommending the purchase <br /> pf an IBM Quietwriter 7 typewriter to replace one IBM Selectric. <br /> Hicks moved, seconded by Rauenhorst, that Council authorize the purchase of <br /> an IBM Quietwriter 7, as per memo. Motion carried unanimously (5-0). Council <br /> concurred that the Selectric be offered to employee for $100. <br /> Claims and Payroll <br /> Rauenhorst moved, seconded by Hansen, that Council approve the Claims and <br /> Payroll as submitted. Motion carried unanimously. (5-0) <br /> Preliminary Discussion - 1985 Appointments <br /> Council was referred to 1984 Committee list, attendance record of 1984 Committee <br /> members and list of volunteers for Committee appointment for 1985. <br /> Council reviewed the status of each committee, noting members desiring reappoint- <br /> ment,and suggesting volunteers for appointment consideration by Council at <br /> its January meeting. <br /> Council was also referred to list of 1984 City appointments for Council's <br /> consideration and recommendations for 1985 appointment. <br /> I.U.O.E. Local No. 49 <br /> Council was referred to letter from Area Business Representative Tim Connors <br /> (12/12/84) advising that the Arden Hills membership has voted to accept the <br /> proposal from the City. <br /> Adjournment <br /> Rauenhorst moved, seconded by Mulcahy, that the meeting adjourn at 10:20 p.m. <br /> Motion carried unanimously.
