<br /> . .' . <br /> Minutes of Regular Council Meeting <br /> Monday, November 19, 1984 <br /> Page Seven <br /> Roberts Pro erties Fire Line Re uest - 1160 and 1230 Gre Fox Road <br /> Council was referred to McNiesh s memo 11/16/84 <br /> Hicks moved, seconded by Rauenhorst, to grant Roberts Properties' <br /> request to not install a separate fire line to serve 1230 Grey Fox <br /> Road, as long as 1160 and 1230 are in one ownership; if one of the <br /> parcels is ultimately sold, a new water line will be required at 1230 <br /> Grey Fox Road at that time. Motion carried unanimously (5-0). <br /> . Status' Report - Third Fire Station <br /> Hansen reported that the last Fire Board meeting ended in a "draw"; <br /> explained that L.J.V.F.D. owns the land; Shoreview can't build on <br /> land it doesn't own. Hansen reported that a list of the fire <br /> department's needs has been requested by the Board; has not been <br /> received to date; reported that L.J.V.F.D. doesn't have the money to <br /> buy the needed equipment, because it used that money to buy the <br /> land for the third station; L.J.V.F.D. now needs mone~ for a fire <br /> truck. (Hansen to memo Council re Fire Board meeting. Hansen <br /> reported that the fire department has been requested to write specs <br /> for the needed fire truck. <br /> OTHER BUSINESS <br /> Hicks reported he has a conflict and will not be able to attend the <br /> December 5th Planning Commission Meeting. Woodburn volunteered to <br /> attend as liaison. <br /> REPORT OF CLERK ADMINISTRATOR CHARLOTTE MCNIESH <br /> (Absent) <br /> Claims <br /> Hicks moved, seconded by Rauenhorst that Council approve the Claims <br /> as submitted. Motion carried unanimously (5-0) <br /> REPORT OF TREASURER DONALD LAMB <br /> Investment <br /> 11-19-84 - $781,493.09 at First Federal for 6 months, at 9.75% <br /> interest. maturing 5-20-85. <br /> Rauenhorst moved to ratify the Treasurer's investment. Mulcahy <br /> seconded. Motion carried unanimously (5-0). <br /> Adj ournmen t <br /> .
