MINUTES OF CITY ELECTION CITY OF ARDEN HILLS November 6, 1984 At the City Election of the City of Arden Hills, County of Ramsey, State of Minnesota, held at the City of Arden Hills, Precinct 1, Precinct 2, Precinct 3. Precinct 4 and Precinct 5 being the places it was directed to be held by the City Council, after 9iving due notice thereof as provided by law. on the 6th day of November. 1984, the Election Boards, as attached. being qualified voters of said City to act as judges of such election, each of whom had before such time been designated and appointed by the City Council to act as judges of such election, each of whom duly took and sub- scribed an oath to faithfully discharge the duties required of . them at such election; and the said judges being duly qualified and trained forthwith opened the polls by proclamation, and.the election proceeded by ballot without adjournment or intermission until closed. The subjects voted on at such election. as stated in the Notice, ther'eof, were: To Elect one Mayor for a term of two years. To Elect two Councilmen for terms of four years. To Elect one Councilman to fill the unexpired term ending December 31, 1986. At 8:00 p.m. of said day the polls were closed. The judges then proceeded to publicly count and canvass the votes, and a true statement thereof was duly proclaimed to the voters by the Clerk Administrator who recorded the same in the City Minute Book. STATEMENT OF RESULT OF CANVASS The following is a true statement of the result of the counting and canvass of votes by ballot at the City Election of the City of Arden Hills. County of Ramsey and State of Minnesota, held Tuesday, November 6, 1984, as proclaimed to the voters by the Election Judges: Robert L. Woodburn received 4,137 votes for Mayor Write Ins received 65 votes for Mayor Robert L. Woodburn was declared elected Mayor for a two year term. Ronald Eibensteiner received 1.216 votes for Councilman Gary M. Peck received 1.825 votes for Councilman Gregory J. Ruehle received 1,655 votes for Councilman Thomas Sather received 2.362 votes for Councilman Write Ins received 21 votes for Councilman Gary M. Peck and Thomas Sather were declared elected Councilmen for terms of four years. . Janet Broberg received 1,514 votes for Councilman Nancy K. Hansen received 2,460 votes for Councilman Nancy K.
