(4-0)

Business from the Floor
None

.

Cable TV Complaint re Overhead Cable Lines - Cost Estimates to
Relocate Lines
Mrs. Taylor asked how much contribution Group W would expect to
re-route or change from aerial to underground.

Council referred Mrs. Taylor to the cost estimates from Group W,
which Council assumes 100% contribution.

Mrs. Taylor asked if Group W would also bury the existing power
lines, if they bury the cable lines. McNiesh stated she did not
believe Group W could change the power or telephone lines.

Mrs. Taylor said the lines are a "real eyesore" as they are now;
stated they are not interested in Cable TV; feels Group W should
pay the costs.

Rauenhorst suggested that because this is a unique situation,
Council should ask Group W to reconsider and ask them to absorb a
large percentage of the cost in this unique situation; stated she'd
like a suggestion from Group W - City and homeowner could then share
the balance of the cost.

Hicks said he does not want to spend City money; feels it would be
o.k. for Group W to pay a percentage and the balance by the
resident. Mrs. Taylor, when asked her preference of the two options,
said she'd prefer option #2.

Rauenhorst moved, seconded by Hicks, that Council recommend to Group
W that Group W assume the major portion of the cost of burying the
line because of this unique situation and the negative impact the
cable has on the Taylor's property; Taylor to assume the balance of
the cost. Motion carried unanimously. (4-0)

REPORT OF VILLAGE ENGINEER DONALD CHRISTOFFERSEN

Bussard Court Drainaqe
(Counci1member Rauenhorst withdrew from the Council discussion and
action). Dr. Rauenhorst and Mr. Carlson were present.

Christoffersen displayed a sketch indicating the existing drainage
situation at the west end of Bussard Court; explained that a 20'
wide drainage easement extends from the cul-de-sac to the lake
between the Carlson and Rauenhorst properties (10' on each lot);
