y
I ,
I. g. Ogren Townhomes
The Council should be aware that Mr. Ogren has not yet filed and recorded his
plat as required. If this is not completed by Friday, January 12,1996, the
. approval for the final plat would expire and he would be required to process a new
application. Staff has informed Mr. Ogren of this deadline on several occasions.
I h. MN Sports Commission
Staff attended a meeting with the Commission to discuss Arden Hills potential
. interest in participating in the joint arena facility in Blaine. I have attached
several documents for Council Review and will briefly address this under
Administrator comments.
. 1. Restoration Advisorv Board Meeting:
The first RAB meeting is scheduled for 7:00 PM on Monday, January 8, 1996.
I The Mayor has requested that I attend this meeting. Once the meeting is over, I
will come directly to the Council Meeting.
I J. Januarv 4. 1996. Letter to Climb Theatre
Staff has written Climb Theatre to attempt to clarify the status of its charitable
I gambling operations in Arden Hills. To date, Staff has not been able to obtain any
information to clarify this issue. You will also find a memorandum from Mr. Post
addressing the charitable gambling at Big Ten Supper Club. This is a direct result
. of a new request from an applicant to replace Climb Theatre. It is Staffs position
that the new Permit applicant should not be acted upon until Climb Theatre
responds to our inquiry. In addition the Council may wish to consider a gambling
I application "moratorium" until codification is complete.
k. Miscellaneous News Articles
I I. Other Items
Councilmember Hicks will be unavailable for this meeting.
I
I
I
I
I
.e
.
-------
