CooDerative Trails Grant Application I Approximately one year ago the City submitted a grant application to the MnDNR for funds to assist with the 1996 Trail Improvement project. At that time, Arden Hills received notice that due to the lack of funds made available by the State I Legislature no awards could be given. Staff was recently notified by State officials that should the Legislature I appropriate funds this Spring for this program, Arden Hills will most likely be eligible to receive its request. The City had requested $45,000 from the MnDNR. This amount would have to be matched by the City. A project of this size would .. include both alternates as discussed by the City Council at recent meetings. Staff will keep the COllncilllpdated. I 1. Februarv 7. 1996. Planning Commission Meeting At the February 7, 1996, meeting the Planning Commission took the following action: I I. Amble Preliminary Plat Tabled this application for review at the March 6, 1996, meeting. Item was tabled to modifY property line for purpose of addressing I slope issues. 3.
