-~ ---..-------------
I- i
Costs I
Preliminary cost estimates for the project for Arden Hills were:
Concrete Sidewalk $2,212.00 .,
Sidewalk Base Aggregate $ 322.00
Storm Sewer $ 681.00
$3,215,00 I
If the sidewalks are dropped from the project, the cost to Arden Hills would be approximately
$681.00. I
Should signals with EVP be added it is expected that this would cost the City of Arden Hills an
additional $2,500. Should an eight (8) x (350) three hundred and fifty bituminous trail ,
connecting the intcrsection to the existing trail at Glenpaul be added, this trail would cost the
City approximately $3,750.
Fundin~ I
Staff will be asking the City Engineers to check the availability of MSA funds for the Arden
Hills portions of the project including, possible signals with EVP and a trail. I
Recommendation
Staff recommends approval of the Cleveland A venue County Road F Intersection reconstruction I
with no sidewalks, but an eight (8) foot bituminous trail connecting the intersection with the
existing trail ending on Glen Paul, understanding that Arden Hills would pay for this trail from ..
park funds, if MSA funding is not available.
Staff also recommends the EVP system be added if signalization becomes part of the project if I
MSA funds apply to EVP systems.
DS\jt I
I
I
I
,
I
-I
I
