- ".
5. Amend Transfer of Perry Park SWM Funds ~
The Council may wish to consider amending it's previous transfer of
SWM funding for the Perry Park Reconstruction project. The Council had
previously transferred $27,315.60 based on an overhead of30%. If the
Council based the transfer on the actual project engineering cost of 9%,
the transfer would be reduced to $22,903.00 I
6. Valentine Hills Playstructure
The Council is asked to approve a donation of$500 towards the purchase I
of a new playground structure at Valentine Hills Elementary School.
7. IRS Reimbursement Rate Increase I
The Council is asked to approve an increase in the per mile travel expense
reimbursement from $.30 to $.31 per mile. This increase would be
consistent with recent IRS rulings. The cost to the City is estimated at I
$400 - $500 per year.
c. Unfinished and New Business 1
1. 1996 Street Improvement Pro;eet Uodate
MSA has completed the review of Oak and Pascal A venues. The results I
of the soil borings apparently do not support the recycling of either street.
Mr. Stonehouse and Mr. Stafford have also met with a number of the
affected property owners to discuss this issue. Mr. Stonehouse will be in ..
attendance at the meeting to discuss his findings. While Staff did not
receive any significant response to these findings, I do expect a fairly large
turnout at the meeting. Attached is a letter from Ruth and Leroy I
Fingerson, Oak A venue, expressing some additional concerns in regards to
the project. The Council should be prepared to give final direction on the
reconstruction of these two streets. I
2. Planninl;' Case #95-23
The Council is asked to approve Planning Case #95-23, Bart Beutow/RLS. .
(See enclosed Memorandum from Mr. Ringwald). Several of the
neighbors are still unhappy with the Planning Commission decision and I
do expect these citizens to attend the meeting. I
3. Resolution #96-18. St. Mary's
The Council is asked to adopt Resolution #96-18, Approving St. Mary's I
bingo hall premises permit renewal application.
4. Resolution #96-19. St. Mary's I
The Council is asked to adopt Resolution #96-19, Approving St. Mary's
charitable gambling bingo hall premises permit renewal application at -'
Holiday Inn.
.
I
