<br /> I <br />The EVP system is expected to cost approximately $8,000, which includes remote sensors, as the .1 <br />signal will be at a curve which necessitates remotes. Here again, the County expects 80 percent <br />Federal Funding and the remaining $1,600 would be split between Arden Hills, Shoreview and I <br />Roseville, as the County does not participate in EVP costs. This brings the Arden Hills cost of <br />the EVP system to $533. I <br />In addition, to the $2,983 cost for the signals and EVP system the County asks that we pay them <br />a 6 percent engineering fee, which brings the total cost to Arden Hills to $3,162. I <br />Maintenance <br />All maintenance of the signals will be performed by the County at its expense. I <br />Shoreview, Roseville and Arden Hills would be expected to split the electric bill. Shoreview 25 <br />percent, Roseville 50 percent and Arden Hills 25 percent. I <br />All maintenance of the EVP System would be performed by the County, but at the City's <br />expense. Shoreview 25 percent, Roseville 50 percent and Arden Hills 25 percent. I <br />Relluest <br />The County requests Arden Hills staff and Council to review and approve the plans and I <br />agreement enclosed.
