AyENDA ITEMS <br /> I Valentine Ave Traffic: <br /> Three residents from the Valentine CrestlValentine Court area were present to request the <br /> I committee's help to solve a tn.ffic problem Oil. Valentine Ave. Residents present were Bob <br /> Kunze, Terry McCleery and Bob Boesel. The problem is with the traffic that uses <br /> Valentine Avenue as a shortcut between Old 10 and County Road F, Speeding and <br /> I running of stop signs is frequent. There have been no injury causing accidents yet, but a <br /> fair amount of property damage has occurred because of the offenders. The residents <br /> urged the committee to recommend closing Valentine Ave at Valentine Crest, The <br /> I neighborhood support for this proposal is very strong, according to the neighborhood <br /> representatives at the meeting. The residents have collected some data regarding traffic <br /> levels on the street, the percent of the traffic using the street as a thruway, percent <br /> I speeding and ronning the stop signs etc. They have certainly put forth some effort to <br /> define the problem and their idea of it's severity. <br /> I After much discussion the committee voted against supporting the proposal to close the <br /> street.
