<br />The Laws, Building Codes, Zoning Codes of my community must apply to all that they claim I
<br />to serve and protect or they applv to no one. Anything less might be construed as harassment. -.
<br />I appeal to your sense of logic, reason and insight.
<br />When I built my house in 1984, built my deck and fence a couple of years after that and until less I
<br />than a year ago, the abutting property, to the east, was nothing but a field of overgrown noxious
<br />weeds and debris, People were dumping brush, grass clippings, sod, rock, sand, concrete, I
<br />asphalt, to name just a few items, on that property,
<br />Also. it is my understanding that property was classified as acreage until recently, I
<br />Now that I think about it, both my wife and I have complained several times over the years, with
<br />little or no response, about the noxious weeds and overgrown brush on the abutting Dropertv to I
<br />the south of ours, Ironically, that property is the responsibility of, and owned by, the City of
<br />Arden Hills, However, that is a code violation which we can address at another time,
<br />In conversations with the abutting property owners to the east, John & Ester McClung, over the I
<br />12 years that I have lived in my house, they have never indicated when or el'en if they were ever
<br />going to develop that property, Be assured we had asked them many, many times over the years, I
<br />When I was building my fence, and after its completion, the McClungs, had no objections to it
<br />and, in fact, complimented us on how nice it looked, We have received several compliments from ~
<br />non,abutting neighbors as well,
<br />My fence is well constructed, well maintained, with a neat, clean appearance, By changing it, as I
<br />Mr. Kriesel suggests, would only degrade that effect.
<br />Ifneed be, I will meet with all or any of you, on site, to discuss this further I
<br />In conclusion, 1 can see no logical, rational or sensible purpose in disturbing this long existing I
<br />structure,
