The I <br />expansion will be made possible through excavation along the existing foundation wall. <br />The existing single-car garage is an 9bvious problem in an era when most Arden I <br />Hills families, ours included, own and drive 2-3 cars. In addition to added convenience I <br />and service, a two-car garage would also increase the value of our home, while raising <br />the value of the neighborhood by reducing driveway parking. I <br />Because most of the proposed addition would be at or below the existing grade <br />of the neighboring land, there would be virtually no adverse aesthetic effect upon the I <br />neighboring property.
