The committee shall advise the director and the City Council on all I <br />matters pertaining to civil defense. I <br />Subd. 8 Volunteers. I <br /> I <br />A. Recruitment. The civil defense director shall, in cooperation with existing Cily <br />departments and agencies affected, organize, recruit, and train air raid wardens, auxiliary I <br />police, auxiliary firefighters, emergency medical personnel, and other personnel that may .. <br />be required on a volunteer basis to carry out the Civil Defense Plans of the Cily and the I <br />state. To the extent that such emergency personnel are recruited to augment a regular <br />City department or agency for civil defense emergencies, they shall be assigned to such I <br />departments or agencies as needed for the purposes of administration and command. The I <br />director may dismiss any civil defense volunteer at any time and require him or her to <br />surrender any equipment and identification furnished by the City. I <br /> I <br />B. Loyalty.
