<br />. <br />I City of Arden Hills Chapter 2 Administration <br />" emergency as headquarters for direction and coordination of civil defense forces. He or <br />I she shall arrange for representation at the control center by municipal departments and <br /> agencies, public utilities and other agencies authorized by federal or state authority to <br />I carry on civil defense activities during a civil defense emergency. He or she shall arrange <br />I for the installation at the control center of necessary facilities for communication with <br /> and between heads of civil defense divisions, the stations and operating units of <br />I municipal services and other agencies concerned with civil defense and for <br />I communication with other communities and control centers, within the surrounding area <br />I and with federal and state agencies concerned. <br />Ie Subd. 7 Advisory Committee. <br />I <br /> A. Civil Defense Advisory Committee Continued. There is hereby continued within the <br />. City a civil defense agency to be called "the civil defense advisory committee." (Created <br />I by Ord. No. 63, 1\ 3(2), 12-27-61) <br />I B. Appointment, Term. Members of the committee shall be appointed by the mayor to <br />I represent departments and other groups concerned with civil defense. Each member shall <br />I hold office at the pleasure of the mayor. <br />I C. Compensation. Each member of the advisory committee shall serve without <br />fI compensation. <br />I 2 - 31 <br />
