This project represents the 1997 phase of the City's ongoing Pavement Management
Program, with the streets identified above clearly in need of repairs. The reconstruction of the
I Hamline Avenue and Snelling Avenue service roads will improve public safety and facilitate
routine maintenance by the Public Works Department. The specific repairs chosen for the
respective streets are the most cost-effective means available for maintaining the City streets. The
I project is feasible from both an engineering point of view and an economic perspective, and is in
accordance with City of Arden Hills standards.
t'
, FEAS-520,080 -2- 520-080-10
