The letter summarizes their <br /> . position on the applicants submittal. <br /> . Deadline for A~encv Actions <br /> The City of Arden Hills received the complete application for this request on August 21, 1996. <br /> Pursuant to Minnesota State Statute the City must act on this request by Friday, October 18, 1996 <br /> . (60 days), unless the City provides the petitioner with written reasons for an additional 60 day <br /> review period. The additional review period would extend to Thursday, December 19, 1996. <br /> The City may with the petitioners consent extend the review period beyond the Thursday, <br /> . December 19, 1996 date. <br /> The City had this request scheduled for the Tuesday, October 15,1996 City Council meeting. <br /> . The applicant, at the Planning Commission meeting, requested that the City Council hear this <br /> case at its Monday, October 28, 1996 regular meeting. The City had provided the applicant with <br /> written notice that the time period for the review of their application is being extended an <br /> . additional 60 days to Thursday, December 19, 1996. <br /> . Lastly, if the City denies the petitioners request, then "... it must state in writing the reasons for <br /> the denial at the time that it denies the request." <br /> Ie Notes <br /> 1. The Zoning Ordinance in Section VIII, D, 6, c, requires a "... vote of at least four-fifths <br /> (4/5) of the full council..." to approve a PUD Master Plan. <br /> . 2.
