Minutes of the Arden Hills Special Council Meeting, June 5, 1989 Page 4 MISC; THANK YOU Councilmember Growe thanked Mayor Sather and Park Department staff for their help in evaluating the bike path, as per a resident complaint. FINANCE COMMITTEE Mayor Sather advised that he and Councilmember Malone have prepared a plan for directing the role of the Finance Committee; he explained the plan proposed focuses the "charge" of the committee on larger projects, not audit functions. He stated the plan will be presented to Council at the worksession scheduled June 19. Sather requested Council review the proposed plan, offer comments at the June 19 worksession, and authorize the Council liaison to present the plan at the next Finance Committee meeting. TEMP. STOP SIGNS; FERNWOOD & CO. RD. F Councilmember Malone questioned when the temporary Stop signs at Fernwood and County Road F would be removed. Public Works Supervisor Raddatz advised he is waiting for the directional signs stating "Cross Traffic Does Not Stoplt prior to removing the temporary Stop signs; he stated he would check on the signs and report back to Council. Councilmember Hansen left the meeting at 5:55 p.m. ADJOURN Mahowald moved, seconded by Growe, that the meeting be adjourned at 6:00 p.m. Motion carried unanimously (4-0) Gar~ B1};ge~ Clerk Administrator ,,1b",~ Mayor NOTICE OF MEETINGS The Regular Council Meeting scheduled for June 12, 1989 is CANCELLED. The next Council Worksession will be held on Monday, June 19, 1989, at 4:30 p.m., at the City Hall. The next Regular Council Meeting will be held on Monday, June 26, at 7:30 p.m., at the City Hall.
