Exhibit A <br />Services <br />1. State Delegation and/or Local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ). The Contractor may perform plan <br />review and inspection services under delegation from the State of Minnesota, as outlined below. For <br />services provided under this section, the Contractor shall be compensated at a rate of 85% of the fees <br />collected in accordance with the Jurisdiction's adopted fee schedule. <br />A. Building Code Services. The Contractor may provide building plan review and inspection services <br />under delegation from the Commissioner of Labor and Industry in accordance with Minnesota Statutes <br />§326B.103. <br />B. Fire Code Services. The Contractor may provide fire sprinkler and fire alarm plan review and <br />inspection services under the authority having jurisdiction from the State Fire Marshal, pursuant to <br />Minnesota Statutes §299F.011. <br />C. Mechanical Code Services. The Contractor may provide mechanical plan review and inspection <br />services under delegation from the Commissioner of Labor and Industry in accordance with Minnesota <br />Statutes §326B.103. <br />D. Plumbing Code Services. The Contractor may provide pluming plan review and inspection services <br />under delegation from the Commissioner of Labor and Industry, in accordance with Minnesota State <br />Plumbing Code §4714.0203, Minnesota Rules § 1300.0215, Subp. 6, and Minnesota Statutes §326B.43, <br />Subd. 2. <br />2. Permit Administration — Project Specific and Legacy Permits. The Contractor may be assigned permits <br />either as project -specific permits or legacy permits. The following structure outlines services and <br />compensation for each. <br />A. Project -Specific Permits. This refers to new permits assigned to the Contractor, where the Contractor is <br />responsible for administering the project from initial application through final inspection. <br />For these permits, the Contractor shall receive compensation equal to 80% of the standard Plan <br />Review Fee and. 80% of the applicable Permit Fee, based on the adopted fee schedule. <br />ii. The Contractor shall submit invoices following the issuance of each project -specific permit. <br />iii. The Contractor shall be responsible for all inspections and documentation through project <br />completion. <br />B. Legacy Permits. This refers to those permits issued prior to the effective date of this Agreement but <br />requiring further administration and/or inspection by the Contractor due to the unavailability or <br />departure of the previous Building Official or Service Provider. <br />i. The Contractor recommends that the previous Building Official or Service Provider complete and <br />close out all such permits whenever feasible.
