Memorandum of Understanding <br />Between <br />The City of Arden <br />Hills And <br />I.O.U.E. Local No. 49 <br />This Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) will be entered into between the International Union of <br />Operating Engineers, Local 49 (Union) and the City of Arden Hills (Employer) regarding the new "Lead <br />Worker" position in the Street and Surface Water Department, effective January 1, 2026. <br />It is herebv understood and aareed to between the Darties that the followina shall a <br />1. Eligibility and Selection: <br />o Selection will be based on an interview Drocess to ensure candidates Dossess <br />the necessary qualifications and experience. <br />2. Supervision: <br />o The Lead Worker will report to and be supervised by the Public Works <br />Superintendent. <br />3. Position Details: <br />o The role will adhere to the established lob description (which is available upon <br />request bV Employee and retained on file with Employer). <br />o The wages and classification for the position will be included in Appendix <br />A of the collective bargaining agreement (CBA). <br />This Memorandum of Understanding shall be in effect until December 31, 2027. In addition, it is <br />understood that this Memorandum of Understanding may be extended by mutual agreement by both <br />parties.
