STREEI' LIGHI'; <br />1435 APDEN OAKS DR. <br />FRANK OOLINAR <br /> <br />Council heard a request from Frank Dolinar, 1435 Arden <br />Oaks Drive, regarding proposed street lights on Arden <br />Oaks Drive and Arden Oaks Court. <br /> <br />Dolinar explained he previously appeared J::efore Council and it was suggested the <br />residents in the area provide a prop:JSal for street lighting and return to <br />discuss this mtter. He presented a diagram which identified existing street <br />lights, the second phase lights proposed for installation and a third phase of <br />lighting proposed by residents in this area. <br /> <br />Dolinar noted the residents have discussed installation of some type of <br />decorative lighting and are aware of the fact an assessment my J::e necessary if <br />decorative lighting is installed. <br /> <br />CouncilmernJ::er Hansen advised the second phase lights are not scheduled for <br />installation and will J::e considered by Council upon request by residents. She <br />explained the street lights to J::e installed are standard lights, not decorative, <br />and must J::e attached to light poles. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Hansen noted there are no light poles in this area and in previous discussions <br />with residents of Arden Oaks Drive it was indicated that some residents did not <br />want light poles in their yards. She suggested the neighbors could fom an <br />ass=iation, install the decorative lights and assume the costs of installation <br />and operation. <br />
