MEEI'ING <br />~Y, MAY 29, 1990, 6:30 P.M. - CITY HALL <br /> <br />C[J)SED SESSION; <br />IABOR NEX3OI'IATIONS <br /> <br />Council held a closed meeting to discuss laJ:or <br />negotiations between 6:30 ani 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call ani notice thereof, Mayor Sather <br />called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL 'Ihe roll being called the following members were present: <br />Mayor 'Iharnas Sather, CounciJ.members Nancy Hansen, Paul <br />Malone ani JoAnn Growe. Absent: Councilmernber 'Iharnas Mahowald. Also present: <br />Engineer Terry Maurer, Park Director John Buckley, Public Works SUpervisor Daniel <br />Winkel, Clerk Administrat= Gary Berger ani Deputy Clerk Catherine Iago. <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />AOOP!' REVISED <br />AGENDA 5-29-90 <br /> <br />Mayor Sather asked if there were any additions to the <br />May 29 Agenda. <br /> <br />councillnember Malone requested Item 4 b., Approval of Bergerson-Caswell Change <br />Order, under Consent Calendar, be moved to Unfinished and New Business for <br />discussion. <br /> <br />Clerk Administrator Berger requested an additional item be placed on the Consent <br />Calendar, Approve Payment to HRS construction for Removal of Underground storage <br />Tanks . <br /> <br />Growe moved, secoooed by Hansen, to adopt the May 29 <br />Council Agenda as amended to remove Item 4 b., Bergerson-Caswell Change Order, <br />from the Consent Agenda for discussion ani to add Item 4 c. Approve Payment to <br />HRS Construction for removal of Underground storage Tanks. Motion =ied <br />unan:i1nou.sly. (4-0) <br /> <br />APPROVE MINUI'ES <br /> <br />Mayor Sather asked if there were arrj additions or <br />=ections to the minutes of May 14. <br /> <br />councillnember Malone requested the following wording be included for <br />clarification purposes: <br /> <br />Page 5: Paragraph #1: Delete the words "surrrp pump" and add "sanitary sewer". <br />Page 7: Paragraph #6: Add the word "move" at the end of the first sentence. <br /> <br />Hansen moved, secoooed by Growe, to approve the minutes <br />of the May 14 Council Meeting, as amended. Motion =ied unanimously. (4-0) <br /> <br />roNSENT <br />CALENDAR <br /> <br />Malone moved, secoooed by Growe, to approve the Consent <br />Calendar, as amended, and authorize execution of all <br />necessary documents contained therein: <br /> <br />a: Appoint Firm to Prepare citizen survey. <br />b. Approve List of Claims and Payroll. <br />c. Approve Partial Payment, HRS Construction, for ReIroval of Underground storage <br />Tanks. <br /> <br />Motion =ied unanimously. (4-0) <br /> <br />CBANGE ORDER; <br />BERGERSON-<:ASWELL <br />wELL ABANIXJNMENT <br /> <br />COlIDCil was referred to a letter from Delta Enviroronental <br />Consultants, elated 5-24-90, re:rarding agreements for <br />change orders at the Kem Milling site discussed at the <br />ColIDCil worksession on 5-21-90. <br />
