Council con=e:l with staff recommendations and directed the Atton1ey to prepare the necessary Ordinance amendment, for consideration at the September 10 Regular Council Meeting, to a:nnbine the duties of the Board of Appeals and Planning Commission, effective January I, 1991. It was further agreed that a Policy Manual will l::e drafte:l and adopted in January 1991, and reconunendation will l::e made to reduce the number of Planning members to seven (7), with no alternates.
