PATRICIA YEZEK performance evaluation and recamnended salary increase for employee Patricia Yezek. Hansen moved, seconded by Malone, to approve the salary increase to 90 percent of the wage rate for the Receptionist position, for employee Patricia Yezek, effective November 1, 1990. Motion carried unanimously. (4-0) SCHEDULE MJX;; Council was referred to a report from the Clerk CANVASS ELECl'ION Administrator dated 10-12-90, regarding scheduling a RESULTS Council meeting to Canvass the November 6 Election Results . . Malone lOClVed, seconded by GrONe, to schedule a Special Council Meeting on Thursday, November 8, 1990, at 4:30 p.m., for the purpose of canvass of election results of the November 6 General Election. Motion carried unanimously. (4-0) RElQUE'Sl' TO LEASE Council was referred to a memorandum from Clerk MAILING SYSTEM; Administrator Berger dated 10-29-90 and Deputy Clerk PITNEY BOWES Iago dated 10-26-90, relative to lease of a new mailing system for the city. Counci1lnernber Malone questioned if the "postage-by-mail" feature will require a designated telephone line anj if the New Brighton Post Office will be cap3ble of . resetting the postage meter by telephone. Deputy Clerk Iago advised she will contact the pitney Bowes representative regarding both matters and report to Council. Malone lOClved, seconded by Hansen, to authorize the Clerk Administrator to execute a 48-lOClnth lease agreement with Pitney Bowes for lease of a Semi-Automatic Mailing System, Model #6260, as recamnended. Jones will no TO REPORI'ER L.A. longer be covering Arden Hills Council Meetings; Larry JONES, NEW has accepted a position with ABC Newspapers and will be BRIGHION BULLETIN reporting news for Anoka, Blaine, and Coon Rapids.
