<br />. ( f ) The use is in the best interest of the city and <br />the GB District. <br /> <br />The applicant shall demonstrate to the <br />satisfaction of the city that the proposed uses, <br />lot sizes, height, mix, location and relationship <br />wi th other existing and proposed uses are <br />compatible and complementary both internally and <br />wi th adj acent uses, and meet the intent of the <br />city as expressed in the GB District purpose and <br />the above criteria for allowable uses. <br /> <br />(5) Prohibited Uses. Some land uses are not compatible <br />wi th the stated purpose of the GB District. The <br />following uses are therefore prohibited: <br /> <br />(a) Single-family or two-family residences. <br /> <br />(b) Open sales, rental or storage lots, including but <br />not limited to cars, buses, trucks, motorcycles, <br />bicycles, recreational vehicles, trailers, boats, <br />mobile homes, machinery, lumber, building <br />materials, landscape materials, and similar items. <br /> <br />(c) Vehicular sales, lease, rental or repair, <br />. including but not limited to the items listed in <br />(b) above. <br /> <br />(d) Truck terminals, freight terminals and freight <br />forwarding services. <br /> <br />(e) Building supply stores and yards. <br /> <br />(f) Outside storage. <br /> <br />(g) Warehousing and wholesaling exceeding 75 percent <br />of the building in which it is located. <br /> <br />(h) Mini-storage facilities. <br /> <br />(i) Bulk storage buildings, yards and terminals, <br />including but not limited to, forest, metal, <br />concrete, agricultural and petroleum products, <br />chemicals, and similar products. <br /> <br />(j) Manufacturing that requires outdoor storage of <br />bulk, raw or finished materials used in or <br />resulting from the manufacturing process. <br /> <br />(k) Manufacturing or processing that generates <br />hazardous waste without a valid Hazardous Waste <br />. Generator's license from the Ramsey County Public <br />Health Department. <br /> <br />4 <br />
