WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 3, 2005 <br /> 7:00 P.M. - ARDEN HILLS CITY HALL <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> Chair Sand called the meeting to order at 7:08 p.m. <br /> ROLLCALL <br /> Present were Commissioners Clayton Larson, Elizabeth Modesette, Roberta Thompson, <br /> David McClung, and Chair David Sand. <br /> Absent: Commissioners Ken Bezdicek and Clayton Zimmerman, <br /> Also present were Mayor Beverly Aplikowski, City Planner Peter Hellegers, and <br /> Recording Secretary Kathleen Altman, <br /> A. APPROVAL OF MINUTES FROM PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING <br /> HELD ON JULY 6. 2005. <br /> Commissioner Larson moved, seconded by Commissioner Thompson to approve the July <br /> e 6, 2005 minutes as amended. <br /> Thc motion carried unanimously (5-0). <br /> PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> None, <br /> UNFINISHED AND NEW BUSINESS <br /> A. PLANNING CASE 05-18: WILLIAM MITCHELL, 3568 RIDGEWOOD COURT, <br /> ARDEN HILLS, MN 55112; MINOR SUBDIVISION AND LOT <br /> CONSOLIDATION <br /> ML Hellegers stated applicant was requesting a Minor Subdivision and Lot Consolidation. He <br /> reviewed his analysis and recommended the Commission approve the Minor Subdivision/Lot <br /> Consolidation William Mitchell, after making a finding that the proposed subdivision meets City <br /> standards and will not have an adverse impact on the surrounding properties or on the <br /> eommunity as a whole; subject to the following condition: <br /> L Rccording with Ramsey County, The applicant shall file the minor subdivision and <br /> lot consolidation with the Ramsey County recorder and shall provide the city with a <br /> e recorded copy. <br /> Commissioner Larson asked why the lot was divided in this manner because it created a diffieult <br /> property description whereas if it was cut in half there would be an easier property description. <br />
