<br />I , DRAFT <br /> MINUTES <br />I CITY OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA <br /> REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />It MARCH 31,1997 <br /> 7:30 P.M. - NEW BRIGHTON COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br />I CLOSED EXECUTIVE SESSION <br />I Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, Mayor Probst called to order a Closed Executive <br /> Session of the City Council to discuss potential litigation. Present were Mayor Dennis <br /> Probst, Councilmembers Paul Malone, Susan Keirn, Dale Hicks and Beverly ApIikowskij <br />I Brian Fritsinger, City Administrator; and John Miller, City Attorney. <br /> The Executive Session of the meeting was opened at 7:00 p.m. and concluded at 7:20 p.m., <br />I at which time the Council recessed momentarily. Mayor Probst reconvened the regular <br /> Council meeting at 7:30 p.m. to facilitate the business schedule to be conducted. <br />I CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL <br />I Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, Mayor Dennis Probst called to order the regular <br /> City Council meeting at 7:30 p.m. <br />Ie Present: Mayor Dennis Probst, Councilmembers Beverly Aplikowski, Dale Hicks, <br /> Susan Keirn, and Paul Malone. <br />I Absent: None. <br /> Also present were: City Attorney, John Miller; City Administrator, Brian Fritsinger; City <br />I Accountant, Terry Post; Public Works Superintendent, Dwayne Stafford; City Engineer, <br /> Terry Maurer; and Recording Secretary, Cindy Schneider. <br />I ADOPT AGENDA <br /> MOTION: Aplikowski moved and Keirn seconded a motion to adopt the agenda for the <br />I March 3 I, 1997, Regular City Council meeting as presented. The motion carried <br /> unanimously (5-0). <br />I PUBLIC HEARING - 1997 STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT <br />I Mayor Probst opened the meeting by explaining to citizens present the order of the meeting. He <br /> explained Council would discuss the scope of the project first, particularly whether Hamline and <br /> Snelling would be included in the 1997 street improvement projects. He asked that Council first <br />I be allowed to discuss this issue amongst themselves, and then the public hearing would be <br /> opened. - <br />f' <br />I <br />
