The policy shall be with an insurance company authorized to do business in this state; shall show at least the limits required by the appropriate provision of this Code; and shall also . contain a provision that the policy shall not be canceled until after thirty (30) days' written notice . to the City of such intended cancellation, and within such time the licensee must obtain and file proof of new or substituted coverage as required hereunder, or the license shall be subject to I immediate cancellation. I 300.07 Compliance with Law. In addition to the provisions of this Chapter, all licensees shall . conform to and comply with all applicable federal and state laws, rules and regulations and I applicable provisions of this Code. .. 300.08 Inspections and Investigations. Upon the receipt of an application for a license, where . provisions of this Code necessitate an inspection or investigation before the issuance of the . license, the Administrator shall refer the application to the proper officer for making the I investigation within forty-eight (48) hours of the time of such receipt. The officer charged with the duty of making the investigation or inspection shall make a report thereon, favorable or I otherwise, within ten (10) days after receiving the application or a copy thereof. The health officer . shall make or cause to be made all inspections in connection with such licenses for the protection of health, the care and handling of food, the prevention of nuisances and of the spread of disease. . The building inspector shall make or cause to be made any such inspections relative to the . construction of buildings or other structures. All other investigations. except where otherwise .. 3 - 3 .
