The policy shall be with an insurance company authorized to do business in this state; <br /> shall show at least the limits required by the appropriate provision of this Code; and shall also . <br /> contain a provision that the policy shall not be canceled until after thirty (30) days' written notice . <br /> to the City of such intended cancellation, and within such time the licensee must obtain and file <br /> proof of new or substituted coverage as required hereunder, or the license shall be subject to I <br /> immediate cancellation. I <br /> 300.07 Compliance with Law. In addition to the provisions of this Chapter, all licensees shall . <br /> conform to and comply with all applicable federal and state laws, rules and regulations and I <br /> applicable provisions of this Code. .. <br /> 300.08 Inspections and Investigations. Upon the receipt of an application for a license, where . <br /> provisions of this Code necessitate an inspection or investigation before the issuance of the . <br /> license, the Administrator shall refer the application to the proper officer for making the I <br /> investigation within forty-eight (48) hours of the time of such receipt. The officer charged with <br /> the duty of making the investigation or inspection shall make a report thereon, favorable or I <br /> otherwise, within ten (10) days after receiving the application or a copy thereof. The health officer . <br /> shall make or cause to be made all inspections in connection with such licenses for the protection <br /> of health, the care and handling of food, the prevention of nuisances and of the spread of disease. . <br /> The building inspector shall make or cause to be made any such inspections relative to the . <br /> construction of buildings or other structures.
