<br /> 1<' <br /> I <br /> I- CITY OF ARDEN HILLS CONFINED SPACE ENTRY POLICY <br /> June 9, 1997 <br /> I <br /> The City of Arden Hills has established a Confined Space Entry Policy as a supplement to the <br /> I City A W AIR program, to ensure the employees health and safety when entering a confmed <br /> space. No person employed shall enter a confined space without proper training. Each employee <br /> I must receive on site training from their supervisor and must attend a confined space entry <br /> training session at least once every three (3) years. Costs of this training will be paid by the City. <br /> I Before entering any confined space in the City of Arden Hills the person making the entry must <br /> contact their supervisor. <br /> I The supervisor must be told of the reason for the confined space entry, the expected time in and <br /> out of the confined space and the name of the standby person assisting the entry. The person <br /> making the confined space entry must first identify the class of entry, fill out the Arden Hills <br /> I confined space entry permit/check list, then proceed in strict accordance with the rest of this <br /> policy. Under no circumstances shall a City of Arden Hills employee enter a confmed space <br /> rated Class III or greater.
