Protective gloves and clothing shall be worn while handling caustic or <br /> dangerous chemicals, while welding, handling batteries and while I <br /> changing mercury vapor lights. <br /> c. Safety shoes shall be worn in all jobs involving handling or moving heavy I <br /> material, during mowing operations and the following: <br /> I. Engineering personnel while on public services, construction, or I <br /> maintenance project job sites, <br /> 2. Street department personnel while doing street maintenance, . <br /> 3. Park department personnel during ground maintenance activities. <br /> I <br /> d. Employees shall not wear loose, flowing or ragged clothing in or near <br /> moving machinery or equipment.
