LLC.
Ie Item 11. Fish, Wildlife and Ecologically Sensitive Resources (Blanding's Turtle):
Our initial investigation collected and reviewed information from the Minnesota Natural
Heritage Database and found no records indicating Blanding's Turtle on the site. Due to the
I possible presence of the Blanding's Turtle in the area, proper sequencing and mitigation efforts
have been initiated to allow for minimal impact to the existing and proposed mitigated wetland
I area. Development will follow recommended guidelines outlined by the MNDNR.
(see appendices)
I Elimination of 76% of the wooded lot, is inconsistent with Council policy:
. Development of the site plan has taken into consideration its proximity to the USFWS .
wooded shoreline adjacent to RoundLake. .
I . Additionally, proper storm water ponds and erosion control measures are proposed to
mitigate the loss of wooded vegetation on the site.
. Prior land uses include farmland, a rendering plant, and pasture.
I Item 18. Water Quality and Surface Water Runoff:
NURP Standards:
I . All plans use recommended guidelines set forth by the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency, .
Division of Water Quality, follow NURP standards and have been evaluated and approved by.
the RGU.
1 . An application for permit has been entered and approved by the Rice Creek Watershed
District, this approval is pending and subject to submission of five additional items for staff
tI' approval (TW AF AA). . .
'.
