Experience with trail design construction and ISTEA project administration; I <br /> E. Municipal record keeping; and <br /> F. Comprehensive Transportation Planning. I <br /> FEES I <br /> The City of Arden Hills has historically paid it's Consulting Engineer a retainer for certain <br /> engineering services, and a percentage of project costs, on an hourly basis for all other expenses. I <br /> The City prefers to continue paying for services in this manner. <br /> The retainer shall be for attendance at two (2) City Council meetings and one (1) Planning I <br /> Commission meeting per month; attendance at monthly Parks and Recreation meetings as <br /> requested; review of private utility permits (i.e. cable, communications, natural gas, electric, <br /> etc.); furnishing up to one-hour of service per week to developers/applicants who seek I <br /> information prior to a formal application; review of assessment reapportionments; attendance at <br /> weekly City staff meetings; and answering telephone calls from the Council, Commission <br /> members, other City consultants, staff and the general public. fl.. <br /> Explain the hourly rate of personnel for all other billable services. This schedule shall list the <br /> hourly rate for each billable engineering service, and then list the multiplier applied if any. The I <br /> intent is to show us the billable rate we would be subject to paying. <br /> Also, provide the percentage of project costs schedule. used by your firm for major projects (i.e., I <br /> those street reconstruction projects in excess of $ I 00,000). <br /> INSURANCE , I <br /> The engineering firm shall provide proof of insurance that will protect the firm from claims <br /> under the Workers' Compensation Act and from claims from bodily injury, death or property I <br /> damage which may arise from the performance of their services under an agreement. Limits of <br /> insurance shall be for a minimum of $1 ,000,000 per occurrence. <br /> TERMS OF THE A(;REEMENT I <br /> The term of the agreement shall be for a period offourteen (14) months, from November 1, 1997 <br /> through December 31, 1998, with the term renewable on an annual basis thereafter. I <br /> The City would require that a review of services performed to-date, and project results be <br /> completed every six (6) months with the results being used as the benchmark for consideration of I <br /> renewal. <br /> BF/sls III <br /> I <br />
