Award of Bid <br /> The City Council is asked to award the bid for the commercial water meter <br /> I replacement project to Badger Meters, Staff has evaluated the bids received, and <br /> recommends the proposal made by Badger. <br /> I 5. Department Report <br /> The City Council will find the department report enclosed for each of the various City <br /> I Departments, Activities related to the Administration Department include: <br /> a, General Administration <br /> I 1- LMC Service Delivery Committee <br /> The second meeting of the LMC Service Delivery Committee is coming <br /> I up shortly, As you know, this committee is charged with providing <br /> suggestions which will help local governments improve service delivery, <br /> Please let me know if you have any suggestions, <br /> Ie 2. Insurance/Risk Management <br /> As a result of the various thunderstorms during the month of July, staff has <br /> . been busy responding to concerns about flooding or property damage, We <br /> have processed several claims tbrough our insurance company, <br /> I 3. Miscellaneous <br /> The City has also been working with a new restaurant on the necessary <br /> I application for a new Liquor License, <br /> b. City Hall <br /> I 1- ArchitectlNew Design <br /> Staff has made a several site visits to other City Halls to look at various <br /> I components of these facilities which could be incorporated into our <br /> design, In addition, we have been meeting on a weekly basis with the <br /> architect to discuss the design and space needs, While the final contract for <br /> I services has not been executed with the architect, I expect it to be resolved <br /> within the week. <br /> I 2. Status of Site Selection <br /> Staff has been in contact with the National Guard and submitted a formal <br /> ~ lctter of request for property on TCAAP, While no answer has been <br /> provided, the National Guard indicates that the transfer process is still <br /> proceeding as expected, <br /> I <br />
