Claims and Payroll <br /> I The Council is asked to approve claims in the amount of$I92,646.27, and payroll <br /> for the period most recently ended. The Council should note payment to MCES <br /> in the amount of $48,322 for September sewer charges and $40,441.50 for July <br /> Ie SAC charges; and to Ramsey County in the amount of $49,309 for September law <br /> enforcement. <br /> I b. Newsletter Committee Appointment <br /> The City Council is asked to appoint Sharon Hanzalik to the Newsletter <br /> Committee. <br /> I 3. Unfinished and New Business <br /> I a. Res. #97-41. ClariJYinl! Proposed Sums of Money to be Levied for Levy Year <br /> 1997. Payable in 1998 <br /> I The City Council is asked to adopt Resolution #97-41, clarifying proposed sums <br /> of money to be levied for levy year 1998. This motion would adopt the <br /> preliminary levy of$I,864,320, which is a 1.91% increase, or $35,000, from the <br /> I payable 1997 levy. <br /> b. Res. #97-42. Adopting Truth-In-Taxation Hearing Dates and Location for <br /> I Proposed 1998 Taxes Pavable <br /> The City Council is asked to adopt Resolution #97-42, adopting Truth in Taxation <br /> hearing dates for proposed 1998 taxes payable, The initial Truth in Taxation <br /> I hearing is scheduled for December 4, 1997, with the continuation hearing <br /> scheduled for December 11, and the final hearing scheduled for December 15, <br /> .. 1997.
