<br /> A The signage area of entrance gate signs shall not exceed 30 square feet, the signage area of press <br />. box/grandstand siguage shall not exceed 80 square feet, aud scoreboard field naming signage shall <br /> not exceed 40% of the total scoreboard area. <br /> B. The cumulative total offield naming signage shall not exceed 200 square feet. <br /> C. Since the field naming signage would be permanent in nature, the applicant shall be required to <br /> obtain sign permit approval prior to the installation of any new field naming signage; at such time the <br /> applicant shall demonstrate compliance with the provisions of this section. <br /> 333.13 Maintenance and Repair. All signs shall be kept in good repair and free from peeling paint, rusl, damaged or <br /> rolled supports, trdl11ework or other material, broken or missing faces or missing letters. Any structure from <br /> which a sign has been moved or removed shall be repaired with materials and/or paintcd or stained to match the <br /> existing background. <br /> A Activities considered mrmal maintenance and repair and not requiring a sign permit from llie <br /> Cily shall include activities such as replacing lamps, replacing ballast in freestanding signs, <br /> replacing transformers in building signs, painting llie pole of freestanding signs and the cabinet of <br /> freestanding or building signs, replacing or repairing llie sign h1ce, including H-bars and retainers <br /> behind llie face, replacing trim and rcplacement of sign fasteners, nuts and washers. <br /> B Activities not considered normal maintenance and repair arId requiring a sign pemlit from the <br /> City ,md lliat shall require that a nonconfonning sign be brought inlo conformance willi all <br />. requirements of this chapter inclnde: <br /> 1. Changes made to the size, height or bulk of llie sign or llie removal of llie sign <br /> for the repair or replacement of llie cabinel or any part lliereo[, not including the <br /> face, or addition of illumination <br /> 2. Changes in poles, structural supports, bases or shrouds, footings or anchor <br /> bolts, moving the sign for any reason, change or replacement of 1he interior or <br /> exterior cabinet frame and removal of any part of the sign for maintenance, <br /> exceptllie sign face. <br /> C. A sign permit in addition to a building pennit is rcquired and will be issucd for any placemcnt or <br /> installation of a new sign, temporary or permanent, or for any maintenance activity that requires <br /> a sign pcnnil, after application for such pelmit on a foml provided by llie City along with any <br /> plans, celtifications or oilier attachments requcsted by llie City, and the fmding by City Officials <br /> the application is in confonnance with the regulations of this section. <br />.
