We have completed a basic, brief I <br /> review of the proposed improvement sequence, <br /> Our understanding of the sequence thaI the proposed improvements to Round Lake Road ~ <br /> will follow is; <br /> I. Improvements will be made to 14th Street to provide access to the Gateway I <br /> Business Center development. <br /> 2" The intersection of Round Lake Road and County Highway 96 will be relocated I <br /> easlward aboul 500 feel, At the time of this relocation, the inlersection will be <br /> constructed to provide two approaching northbound lanes and two southbound <br /> departing lanes on Round Lake Road, The four lanes will transition to Iwo lanes I <br /> to malch the existing roadway width of Round Lake Road at a point south of the <br /> "5" -curve that will connect the existing north-south alignment of Round Lake <br /> Road with the new intersection. A temporary traffic signal will be installed at the I <br /> time of this intersection relocation and construction. <br /> 3. Round Lake Road will be widened from its existing two lanes to four lanes south I <br /> of the "S>>-curve to 13th Street nand when future development beyond the <br /> Gateway Business Center requires this widening, <br /> 4" County Highway 96 will be realigned approximately 50 feet north of its presenl I <br /> alignment. Round Lake Road will be extended to reach the new alignment and the <br /> intersection area will be reconstructed. A permanent traffic signal will be installed, I <br /> .. <br /> I <br />
