Planning Case 97-23 (MSL, 4300 Round Lake Road, SUP Amendment - Signage). <br /> The applicant is the tenant in the Phase] of the GBD. The applicant wishes to place a <br /> I sign on the building facing west (towards I35W). The requirements for the GB zoning <br /> district require specific approval for all signs in relationship to projects within the GB <br /> zoning district. The plans that were approved did not show a sign on this side of the <br /> J. building. Therefore, an amendment to the original SUP is required. <br /> --- 2. Planning Case 97-24 (Arlyn Solberg, 3232 North Hamline Avenue, Variance - Side <br /> . Yard Setback). The applicant has an unenclosed porch (constructed in 1956) on the east <br /> side of their home which is 6.7 feet from the side property line when 10 feet is required. <br /> I The applicant wishes to enclose the porch to allow for an expansion to the adjacent <br /> kitchen. <br /> I 3. Discussion of the regulation of Adult Uses, Pawn and Gun Shops. Per discussion <br /> between the Planning Commission, City Attorney, and Staff the City Attorney is <br /> preparing draft ordinances for these uses. It is anticipated that these drafts will be <br /> I initially discussed at the December 2, 1997 Planning Commission meeting with a <br /> recommendation coming from the Planning Commission to the City Council in early <br /> 1998. <br /> I 3. Comprehensive Plan RFP selection update. The Staff is anticipating recommending a <br /> consultant on this item to the City Council in early November. <br /> I <br /> I <br /> ,. <br /> I <br />
