Ramsev Countv Trail in back of Ogren Town homes <br /> . ] have contacted Larry Holmberg about clearing the trail in back of the Town homes of Lake <br /> Valentine. Council member Aplikowski and others have informed me that the trail has been <br /> relocated to the proper location; however, it has not been cleared of tree stumps etc. Mr. <br /> I Holmberg assured me that Ramsey County staff would be doing some further clearing of the trail <br /> easement before winter. <br /> . Tonv Schmidt Park Redevelopment Task Force <br /> The first Task Force meeting will be held on Monday, October 27 at 7:00 p.m. at the Army <br /> Reserve Center. I will be attending this meeting, so I will not be at the City Council meeting. <br /> Ie Vandalism at the Parks <br /> We continue to have kids who hang out at Valentine Park and destroy the benches and picnic <br /> I tables and spread garbage throughout the park. We have also had a couple of other shelter <br /> buildings spray painted recently. I am hoping that the efforts to work with the Mounds View <br /> I High School kids to stop the vandalism along County Road F will help to alleviate some of the <br /> problems at the parks as well. <br /> I Round Lake Trail <br /> The park dedication requirement with Welsh for Phases II, III, and IV includes the possibility of <br /> trail construction within the trail easement along this development and along the Phase 1 <br /> I property. The trail construction along the Phase 1 site will have to occur within the U.S. Fish and <br /> Wildlife property. I have been working with representatives from this organization throughout <br /> the process. It is necessary to have this parcel surveyed before they will agree to let the City <br /> I build the trail. I had been working with MSA on this project and will now be working with <br /> BRW. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife wants to inspect and approve the project as soon as possible. <br /> I Super Rink in Blaine <br /> I have attended several programming meetings to determine the allocation of ice time to the <br /> I interested parties. The hockey associations are not happy with the ice time that has been <br /> scheduled to them by the MASC. The MASC has given the hockey associations ice time on two <br /> ~ 1 <br /> . <br /> ~----,--- <br />
