- -------..----..- -----
€(B
Activity Center and the South Wall of the Activity Center. The west wall section is identified as
section 6/A12.2 Parapet @ Precast Concrete Wall (Gym) and the south wall is identified as e
S/A12.2 Parapet @ Precast Concrete Wall (Storage).
If our findings prove to be accurate and any miscommunication between NHLC and the City of
Arden Hills is not the fault of NHLC, then we request the building be completed as originally
presented.
If. on the other hand, any of the above mentioned infonnation is incomplete, or if there is
additional evidence that would substantiate exterior building surface materials to be other than we
stated in Exhibit A, pages 7 & 8, then we present a plan for your consideration. In that case, we
request that any additional brick surface that would be mutually agreed upon, be completed
during the early spring of 1998 as weather permits, and, that the early use of the building not be
curtailed and become contingent upon the final application of exterior building surfaces.
I must report the decision of the City Council to our Council of Elders who will report the
decision to the congregation of 6,600 members. There is great concern over spending additional
dollars on the building that might result from miscommunication between parties other than
NHLC, and, if such request for change is based upon a personal perception of beauty rather than a
violation of building code.
We are certain the City of Arden Hills is of the same position as NHLC in that it wishes to
resolve this issue as soon as is possible. We ask that you review our response and hopefully we
all can get this issue behind us.
atfUI:y sub~tted . e-
,4~~ ~
R.
