<br />The employee may grieve disciplinary action or discharge in '1 <br />accordance with the established grievance procedure. <br />Grievances of disciplinary action may be initiated at Step 2 I <br />of the procedure. If the grievance is upheld, the employee <br />shall receive all payments, benefits and service accrual .. <br />which the employee would have earned during the period of <br />suspension without pay, demotion or discharge. In case of <br />demotion or discharge, an employee shall be reinstated to the <br />position formerly held if the grievance is upheld.
