<br /> Additional Citv Council Actions <br /> Boston Scientific . <br /> The City Council reviewed the request from Boston Scientific to change the water tower signagc <br /> rrom Guidant to Boston Scientific. The City Couneil unanimously agrced with thc Planning <br /> Commission and determined that the text and color change was not significant, and the site plan <br /> review proeess was not required for this particular signage change. Boston Scientific will still <br /> need to apply for a regular sign permit. <br /> Chesapeake Companies <br /> The City Couneil unanimously approved an additional one year extension for the Chesapeake <br /> Companies Master Planned Unit Development, which is the plan for the office dcvelopment at <br /> the northeastern corner ofI-35W and 1-694 (the former ATS Steel property). Chesapeake will be <br /> starting the process to clean up the soil contamination under the old A TS Steel building, which <br /> was demolished this last summer. The old railroad ties have also been removed from the <br /> property. <br /> Although a one year extension was approved, Chesapeake indicated that a final PUD application <br /> would be submitted soon. The Pinal PUD will require Planning Commission and City Council <br /> revIew. <br /> Royal Oak Realty/Former City Hall Site . <br /> Due to the timing for the final plat review, the Couneil voted unanimously to approve a request <br /> to extend the closing on the old City Hall property until October 30'\ 2006.
