.
.
September 8, 2006
Mr. James Lehnhoff
City Planner
City of Arden Hills
1245 West Highway 96
Arden Hills, MN 55112
Subject: Site Plan Review Application for 34XX Lake Joharma Blvd
Dear Mr. Lehnhoff:
The enclosed information is being provided as a supplement to our application for the
City's Site Plan Review of the proposed improvements at 34XX Lake Joharma Blvd. We
. are submitting this application in an effort to cooperate fully with the City of Arden Hills
to address outstanding concerns regarding the tree removal that took place on our
property.
As we previously discussed, we apologize for the misunderstanding regarding the tree
removal. We certainly would not have knowingly performed work on our site that was in
violation of the City's ordinance.
Weare sincerely looking forward to building a new home in Arden Hills. A copy of our
plan is included for your reference.
As part of our plarmed construction project, we intend to do extensive landscaping. The
enclosed landscaping design includes features that will be natural and aesthetically
pleasing to neighbors and those using Lake Joharma Blvd. Since there is a steep slope
that exists between the home site and Lake Joharma Blvd, we propose to use a natural or
limestone boulder wall as illustrated on the enclosed information from Pro-Wall, Inc.
The area between Lake Joharma Blvd and the retaining wall will be heavily vegetated
with a wide variety of plantings. Significant trees are proposed at the north and south
boundaries of our property.
.
