Staff would recommend a condition in the PUD document to modify the landscaping in the 30- foot buffer along the west property line from the current design of solely deciduous and ornamental trees (Spring Snow Crabapples and Amur Maples), to include coniferous trees. This will provide better year-round screening for the properties to the west.
